Being a local citizen of Goa, the prime benefit is that you can get up every morning and just drop by every beautiful hotel for a wonderful experience. I, David Pinto, being a journalist, every place becomes my ‘word muse’ and this one just got added to the list. Completely wooden in its infrastructure and located in the centre of lush green reserve of pine trees, the Fern Gardenia Resort, Goa offers a luxurious stay for the visitors.
Not quietly rushed up, the hotel offers 18 rooms each one being different from the other. The hotel is built on a single floor and has a well-furnished swimming pool arena that offers a great view under clear skies. The rooms are provided under separate villa set-ups with charming interiors have minimal take on furniture and allow for an excellent stay. For younger generations, the location is apt as it is closely located to one of the best beaches in Goa, the Palolem beach. Each cottage at the resort is equipped with services such as telephone connectivity, refrigerators, iron, air-conditioning and safety lockers.
The hotel has separate smoking rooms, banquet facility for business and personal functions, a relaxing spa and fitness centre and chargeable Wi-Fi service. As an excited visitor, I checked in at their normal time around 12 in the morning and stayed at Hazel suite. Being a food enthusiast, I moved to The Azolla, a multi cuisine restaurant that is also an in-house restaurant to the hotel. Satisfying my taste buds with an amazing meal, I moved to the room and relaxed for a while.
From room service to the Bar in the hotel, there was no interaction where I would have felt disappointed. The staff at the hotel is generous, and the hospitality of the hotel is excellent. Located at a distance of 59 kms from Goa International Airport, this one offers calm and chilled out stay in Goa. The key highlight of the resort is its proximity to major sight-seeing places such as patnem beach, Alorna Fort, Amthane Dam and Anjunem Dam.
