The tournament saw the participation of contestants from various countries that came to glorify their training and efforts in the field of martial arts. Before the competition, a small opening ceremony was performed and then the contestants were called to commence the competition. I visited the place along with my friend, who is a great admirer of this art form, and somewhere yearn to be a part of such a tournament.

Christian Karate has a unique history attached to it. It is skillfully founded on science of bodily movements that develop the followers of this art in to a healthy and extremely coordinated person – physically as well as mentally. In each session of competition, we witnessed the efforts of contestants trying to unite mind, body and spirit.

The place also invited many onlookers, mainly the well-wishers of the participants, who were cheering the contestants and were motivating them. I was reminded of the many Chinese movies and the action sequences of martial arts, which I had seen in the past. It was like I was watching them again, but this time, in real.

The contestants were quick and alert. Undoubtedly, they underwent vigorous and tough training regimen. Winning was not a cake walk as it was an international championship, which was challenging. But the participants wanted to make most of this platform and achieve greater heights in their lives.

The entire session was finished by 12:30 pm and the winners were declared and felicitated with gold, silver and bronze medals. No doubt, it was an encouraging and much deserved platform for all of them.
